
Midday host and Music Director Lynn Briggs has been on the air and behind the scenes in some of the nation’s largest markets, including Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and Detroit.
At KOAI in Dallas she was the only woman in the market spearheading a morning team before opting for the midday position in 2001. Lynn also worked for one of the hottest stations in the country, New York’s Hot 97 (WQHT). As the Program and Music Director for KJLH in Los Angeles she was a vital part of propelling the stations ratings. In part due to her success in making the station a hot interviewing spot for some of music industries biggest celebrities. Lynn's broadcasting career extends into television as well. She anchored weekend newscasts for TXCN (Texas Cable News).
She has interviewed some of the biggest names in the music world too: Quincy Jones, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Dave Koz and Boney James, just to name a few. Her engaging style and knack for boosting ratings have earned her numerous industry honors, including the coveted title, "Billboard Magazine Air Personality of the Year."
Lynn is a dedicated community leader whose efforts have significantly impacted some of her favorite non-profit organizations, including Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, March of Dimes, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Lung Association.
